Breeze please

breeze arts week logoHalf-term is upon us and I’m making the short trip into Leeds on Monday to run a creative writing workshop for teenagers. The session, part of Leeds City Council’s Breeze Arts Week, is the first of a series of events aimed at children and young people during the school break and which also includes workshops in film-making, comics, drama and DJ-ing.

My workshop, for 12-16 years olds, is focusing on characterization in fiction-writing. It runs from 10am to 12 noon at The Carriageworks, in Millennium Square, and, as of yesterday, there were still a couple of places available, priced £3 or £2 with a Breeze card. You can book through the box office on 0113 224 3801. For full details of the week’s activities check out the website at: www.breezeleeds.org .

The other method is using an RSS Reader. If you already follow some blogs using Google Reader or another news aggregator, you can add updates from my site to your list of subscriptions. Of course, all this is completely FREE of charge.
