New novel, new title!

It’s been a long time in the making but I have finally delivered my next novel for teenagers after spending much of the spring and summer revising (and re-revising) the draft I’d finished at the start of the year. Phew! I’ve been working so closely and intensively on it for so many months I’m not sure how I feel about the novel right now – apart from relieved to have wrapped it up at last!

It’s scheduled for publication in the UK and America in January 2014.

If you’ve checked out my website over the past 18 months you’ll know the novel was originally called The Fallen One. But my U.S. editor said that was too similar to The Fallen series so I’ve been trying to come up with an alternative. We’ve finally settled on Never Ending. The new title is only 24 hours old and I’m still getting used to it. But I like it. And the more I think about it, the more I like it. It’s apt, anyway, because the novel is *1,467,000 pages long.
