New deal in Canada
The thump on the doormat this morning was the arrival of the contracts for a Canadian edition of my new teen/YA novel, Never Ending. Thanks to the efforts of my British and Canadian agents – Stephanie Thwaites, at Curtis Brown, and John Pearce, at Westwood Creative Artists – I have agreed a deal with Doubleday in Toronto, part of the Random House group.
Never Ending is already scheduled for publication in January 2014 in the UK and America, as part of the deal to publish Flip, but I only had a one-book contract in Canada. So it’s good to have found a home for the book there . . . and even more pleasing that it’s with the same editor, Amy Black, who did such a great job with Flip.
