UKYAX blog tour

One of the great things about blog tours is you don’t have to go anywhere! So, I’m now virtually in deepest Cornwall as a guest blogger on the wonderful YA site, Mikayla’s Bookshelf. Mikayla is kindly hosting my visit as part of a nationwide blog tour involving authors taking part in the UKYA Extravaganza event at Nottingham Waterstones on Saturday October 10th (see previous post for details).

On Mikayla’s Bookshelf, I’ve posted introductory pieces on my first two young-adult novels, Flip and Never Ending, and have completed a Q&A. To visit Mikayla’s site and read my posts, please click on this link. Here’s a sample question and answer to whet your appetite:

If you could have three people over for dinner (alive or dead), who would they be and why?
Jesus could bring the food and drink (loaves, fishes, wine) and resolve the whole son-of-God question once and for all. The Buddha could teach us the path to enlightenment (although I’m worried he might just sit in a corner, meditating, for the whole evening). And I’d invite Germaine Greer, Emmeline Pankhurst, Anne Frank or Boudicca, as well, just so it doesn’t get too blokey. Boudicca, probably – I’ve heard she makes a great tiramisu.

The easiest and most common way is via email. All you have to do is click the envelope button in the header of the web site and tell us your email address. You will then be sent an email asking you to confirm your subscription which you do by clicking in a link in that email. That's it ! From then on, you will receive updates and you can unsubscribe at any time by following the link in any of the News updates.

The other method is using an RSS Reader. If you already follow some blogs using Google Reader or another news aggregator, you can add updates from my site to your list of subscriptions. Just press the RSS button in the header and select your RSS reader and that's it. You can unsubscribe at any time using your RSS Reader.

Of course, all this is completely FREE of charge.
